The Moon
The moon is full once and a while. It has that ability. It can be many other sizes depending on where it rests in relationship to the earth and the sun. Romantic humans tend to enjoy the moon regardless of its size or shape. We have unconditional acceptance for the moon. We don't even criticize the moon when it doesn't show up at all on a cloudy night. The moon is constantly changing from our perspective moving through natural cycles. That is it is constantly changing in relation to the earth and the sun. The actual moon is always full. The moon is never really a sliver. Half moons and crescent moons are illusions for us to enjoy. The moon has its ability to show its fullness to us and yet we don't expect it always. Sometimes I wonder why we don't treat ourselves with the same love and acceptance that we have for the moon.
