Carroll has the unique benefit of working in two distinct worlds. For the past eight years, she has had both a private practice and a position in the public school system as a part time elementary school counselor. Her counseling work with families and individuals of all ages is based on supporting their strengths and their own abilities in order to help transform painful patterns of behavior into successful new ways of interacting. She has facilitated numerous experiential workshops where participants explore a wide variety of topics including self-care, character development, and reducing drop-out rates among students.
Carroll graduated from the University of South Carolina with Master of Education and Educational Specialist Degree in Counselor Education.
